- Floral & Event Assistant -
Looking for someone who is hard working, reliable and detail orientated.
Design floral arrangements for customers and fulfill orders as needed.
Assist the manager during the set up, execution and/or clean up of the events.
Assists the manager with completing arrangements for events.
Provide outstanding customer service to our couples, their families and guests during their weddings and events.
Accept flower shipments, process and care for flowers.
Assist manager with social media and promotional needs.
Use the computer and cash register to cash customers out.
Maintaining a clean and well kept store.
Assists the manager in loading and unloading items for events as needed.
Learn the in’s and out’s of weddings and events.
Assist the event lead as needed.
May be required to do portions of deliveries.
Must be “ok” with children around you in the shop! They also like to offer to “help”…
This position could to become an event lead.
Job Qualifications
Reliability is a necessity.
Customer service skills.
Computer skills.
Physically capable of lifting, standing for most of the day, using ladders and crouching down.
Work 8+ hours.
Be able to carry items.
Be able to remain calm under stress/pressure.
Must be reliable. This is not a position where there is someone else to cover you if you’re sick. Not only is the company relying on you, but so is a couple and their wedding day!
Have reliable transportation that may be required to complete deliveries.
Must have some weekday availability and weekend availability.
This position is part time.
